I'm deeply grateful for the privilege of connecting with you through your inbox, the Substack app, or directly via your web browser. Your time is valuable and I’m honored you spend a few minutes of it each week reading the things I write.
This year has been a remarkable journey of exploration and growth. My audience has grown from 20 or so friends and family to thousands of monthly readers. I've published over 60 articles in 2023, experimenting with a number of formats, ranging from book reviews and interviews, to continuing veterinary educational content to AI explainers and deep dives into hot scientific topics. While I have a general idea of which articles resonate more with you, the data analytics provided by Substack are somewhat limited in offering detailed insights.
Your satisfaction and engagement are paramount to me.
