As a soon-to-be-resident pathologist, I would fully support this, $$ included. (though probably in the $5-10/mo range because as you know there won't be a lot of that for awhile :))
That’s helpful to know! I should have phrased it more clearly, but this would be a new benefit added to the existing paid/founding subscriber plan ($7/mo or cheaper with annual plan), NOT an additional specific charge
As an idea, I absolutely love it! But as you may know I'm not philosophically in favor of paywalls or monetizing information, although I absolutely support, as a practical matter, writers being paid for all their hard work and long hours. 🙂
I totally understand that. The way I look at it is this would go beyond just information and represent rare specimens I’ve collected over a career, and continuing medical information in general usually costs money. I try to keep most of my general information pieces free to all
Hi Graybird, I have comp'ed subscriptions for students, interns, residents, and other folks with extenuating circumstances. I want to make sure that I balance monetization with my educational mission. Send me an email about your situation and we can talk 👍

Gotcha, still a very valuable addition!

I respect and appreciate that; one of the many reasons I subscribe and look forward to your newsletter! You're a very humane and compassionate person!
I would love to see this, but I just can't afford it. I currently have $-23 in my bank account 😑
