Hey there! 👋 I'm Dr. Eric Fish, a veterinary pathologist, scientist, and educator with experience ranging from academia to diagnostic laboratories to start-ups. You can read my published research here. My interests span veterinary medicine, molecular biology, and technology (especially AI), along with a passion for travel and learning about the world. You can think of my Substack as a mix of a personal blog and a newsletter about current topics in veterinary medicine, science, and technology. I named this publication “All Science Great & Small” as an homage to the famous veterinary book All Creatures Great and Small and its sequels by Dr. James Herriot. Those books warmed hearts and inspired generations of people to become veterinarians, including myself. My goal with science writing is to focus on animals of all kinds and to make it accessible to everyone, similar to Dr. Herriot.
